Close-Up Filmituotanto was founded in 1993 and has since grown into a cinematic commercial production company serving leading brands in Finland and internationally.
The company has delivered productions for clients including Fiskars, Yle, Orion, Hartwall, MTV, S-Pankki, Paulig, and Asko—ranging from television campaigns to branded content and documentaries.
Close-Up’s work has received international recognition, including awards at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards in 2018 and 2021, as well as awards for best TV advertising campaigns by MTV.
With access to extensive cinema-grade equipment, including 35mm format capabilities, lighting systems, and a fully equipped studio, Close-Up is built to execute demanding productions at scale.
The company operates primarily in mid- to high-end productions, with a focus on delivering cinematic quality and strong visual storytelling. International productions have included projects such as music videos filmed in Italy.

The close-up is one of the most powerful shots in visual storytelling and plays a significant role in our love for movies.
When focused on a human subject, its primary purpose is to reveal the subtle nuances of behavior and emotion. To achieve this, the shot must be composed to exclude or conceal any extraneous visual elements that could distract the audience.
Careful manipulation of depth of field, focal length, lighting, and composition is essential to create an intimate connection between the audience and the subject.

STUDIO SPACE
In our 250 m² studio, we can create both traditional sets and chroma key shoots. Depending on the production size, we utilize various high-end film production equipment, all available in our warehouse, to accommodate both short and long films.
Additionally, we have a fully equipped sound mixing studio on-site, allowing us to produce acoustically perfect sound simultaneously with the shoot.
